So, what is this thing?

     This is a burn inspired outdoor festival in the driftless region of northeast Iowa.  River of Fire started in 2021 and has been steadily gaining momentum.  Although River of Fire is not affiliated with the Burning Man organization, we do adhere to the principles of the community it inspired. 

     This event is essentially a camp out.  Beyond that humble description you will find that it is a world of human inspiration and expression blending seamlessly with the raw beauty of nature.  At RoF, all artistic content is generated by the participants, largely on-site.  We invite you to come join us in building this temporary respite from the default world.
